I think I might have to agree with you and just go for a shrimp tank . With nice scaped tank it can look flawless . Did you say you have a Nano tank ?

Just did another test ammonia is down to 0.05 Nirate 0. Reckon a another water change just in case? I might get another test kit for the aquarium . Not blaming the Kit as it wasn't good enough for me to allow that to happen . Thanks for your help I guess that explains the redness on the fish .

apologies for being vague I was getting pretty worried and frantic. nitrate: 20 nitrite .6 before the 60 % water change . A bit worrying I know . ph gh kh all the same . No my other fish seem all fine swimming around being normal .
