The tank did not "cycle". And it can't really be testing "great" had never been cycled and with all of these water changes and medications. If you could put these test results that would help us a lot to better help you in what to do. That is completely incorrect and there are very very few...

Oh boy...this was my fear. You didn't cycle this tank. Running for a couple of weeks is not the same as Cycling. Cycling a tank is very involved and can take about 2 months. I'd tell you to take these fish back to the store ASAP but they're already ill and you'll have to deal with that...

Good Lord, I just choked on my coffee!!! I spent 8 on a sunkist shrimp and felt like I'd gotten robbed! That said, I do LOVE my shrimp! And I never remove the moults. They always get eaten, if not by the shrimp, by the nerite snail.

I actually find these guys more interesting than guppies. They come in a huge variety of colors and patterns and they are very busy and active and use the entire tank as a playground. AND they have very small bioloads! Unlike guppies who are pigs!

I'd say these white spots are snail eggs. Even if you didn't think you had snails...you might have gotten some that hitchhiked in the plants.

Mine are not either! All of mine are attached to beautiful pieces of wood! I love the wild and crazy roots that grow and wrap around and make a perfect mess!
