Weeks ago I noticed these long strings on the back of my fern. Thought it was some weird bug, so I decided not to check it out because "ew". But it was baby java fern! There's been a few more recently. How do I care for them?

Got the assassin snail to wipe out the snails on one side of the tank! He's now doing his job on the other side of the divider :D

What I'm saying is that if you go ahead and rehome the guppy, the minnows and danios can go in the 20g. The 10 would be home to the rainbows, because you definitely could not have the three schools in the 20.

What you could do, to downsize. The guppies, danios, and minnows in the 20 gallon. The rainbows and shrimp in the 10 gallon, bc 6 is a bit small.

How many tanks do you have running?

Visited a relative last year in cali.....two goldfish in a 5 gallon. Nasty tank. Obviously, we didnt leave the house until we had done a 100% fish tank and lectured and all that :P. Good they were willing to learn :)

Do assassin snails dig and burrow? The internet says so (aka google), and I do have a soft beach sand substrate (omg its so soft I'm literally in love with it :P ) so that could explain some things...
