    Bacteria bloom?

If it is bacterial bloom let the heterotropic have their party and do nothing. Only aeration could be an idea cause they use oxygen.

Eheim is Chinese / manufactured in China nowadays. Filter are defebitely more flimsy than the old ones. I'd get one from around, so you can get service when needed.

    What is ICH?

Maybe add that most fish that die " cause of Ich ", actually don't die by the parasites itself but die cause of human behaviour. Panick, misdiagnosing, different kinds of treatments at the same time, etc etc..... When you start treatment (no matter what kind of treatment) at the moment you...

    Tank Bred or Wild Caught

Agree but a lot of fish that are tank(or pond) bred aren't treated any better than wildcaught ones. Hobby-tankbred I like the most for that reason.

    Black Skirt Tetra babies

Well done. Think the biggest risk for eggs and fry are the parents. So if there are enough hidingplaces should be possible.

White band around Neon appeared overnight

NTD isn't caused by bacteria (microsporidia Pleisophora hyphessobryconis) so indeed antibiotics won't do anything. It is rare, contagious, lethal and incurable. It will affect allmost all fish and is only called NTD cause it was first ID-ed on a Neon Tetra (not a smart idea). A certain strain...

BN'S are omnivores so they need (some) protein as well. though wood seems to be beneficial (certainly as hidingplace) they don't need wood like clowns as part of their diet.
