    White blob on molly's mouth?

I’m in the UK, good brands to treat columnaris are Waterlife Myxazin (I have this one on standby just in case): Or Interpet Anti fungus and finrot. Some good info about columnaris here just for your information...

Help id'ing round things in aquarium?

Makes sense if that was an egg stuck to your molly’s mouth, he probably tried to eat it and it just got stuck to his lip 😂

Oh what a little piggy :rip: I don’t recall losing any fish to over feeding either.. are you sure it wasn’t already poorly?

    White blob on molly's mouth?

Whatever it is, it’s perfectly spherical like something has ballooned up on the lip. It might be an injury but I’m not sure. Is he still able to eat? It does look like it’s bothering him the way he keeps opening his mouth. Hopefully someone else might have a better insight.

    White blob on molly's mouth?

It looks like a foreign object from those pictures rather than a growth but I can’t be sure. Is It definitely attached? Does it have its mouth open in that last pic?

🐡 FOTM VOTE NOW - August Fish of the Month contest (Bettas)

Meet our Male Betta. His name is Deadpool. We believe he is a Half Moon Tail Betta however not 100% sure. He lives in a 40 litre tank with a couple of corys and some red cherry shrimp. He’s very friendly, he even turned to face the camera when I took his pic (as seen above) 🥰 he’s fine with the...

Ahhhh I see! Great suggestions thanks @MattW ! I’m off out to pets at home now to see if I can get the wraps 🙂

    Plants being pulled up 🙄

How would you attach them the the plants? 🤔 the plants haven’t really developed enough root yet. Yes we have these in the Betta tank which seem to be working but are better with a ‘clump’ of plant. The Egeria is planted in 3/4 stems each across the back of the tank so not enough stem to fill...

    Plants being pulled up 🙄

Last weekend I added some more plants into my aquarium after my re-scape. Since then, every single day sometimes morning and evening I’m waking up or coming home to the Egeria constantly being pulled out of the substrate. Every time I re-plant them I make sure they are as deep as possible, in a...

    Sparx’ Tank Journey

So after getting some advice on re-scaping, I took the plunge today! I got some more plants from the LFS yesterday when hubby went to pick out the fish for his tank. I picked up cryptocoryne undulatus kasselman and some crytocoryne wendtii brown and something similar to guppy grass but not...

Thank you for your input @GaryE, this has reassured me somewhat but I do understand I should probably check several different sources to make sure the information I’m getting is consistent 👍🏻

    Seriouslyfish.com

I use this website now to research fish species and try to gather any information about the fish I currently have, or fish I am interested in and might be looking to purchase. I only started using it because it was so widely recommended on here but now I’ve been told that a lot of these profiles...

    Tank no.2: 10g planted

I researched on seriouslyfish.com and it does say that these Corys need minimum 10g so I thought getting these two would be ok. I know Bettas are prone to over feeding issues which is why we will be careful on how much food we are putting into the tank. Unfortunately we don’t have the space...

    Tank no.2: 10g planted

The LFS had them labelled as *False* Julii Corydoras, which to be fair I probably should have looked up before hubby bought them, they are better in larger groups but the shop only had these two left so we couldn’t have bought more even if we wanted to.

    Sparx’ Tank Journey

So after going to our LFS to get fish for the 10g, I also picked up some more scissortails for the 30g. It’s not often they have them in stock so I bought them on impulse because I only have three and I want more of a shoal. I know you’re all going to tell me off, but my LFS quarantines all of...

So today was the day to introduce the new critters into the new tank 🤩 Firstly we have the little Fire Red Cherry shrimpy-poos. There are 13 of them in total and all different sizes. They are the FRCS clan. We also picked up a couple of very pretty *False* Julii Corydoras. Edit: Their...
