I want to get some decor but i dont like the color. Is there any black paint that is aquarium safe? Or is all paint safe after it cures?

Its miserable. i have one other tank battling ich but im not to concerned about that. Turned the heat up and theyre doing alot better. If only all sicknesses were that easy 

Im just hoping the all dont die. The package says 6 days plus 10 days of their immune booster. 

NVM i found ammonia without the surfactant

Well yesterday was the first day i didnt have any die. i turned the heat up to 82 about 4 days ago. But today i had two die and i also got the medicine flakes. So i started that today. All together ive lost about 15 fish :(

okay i dont have  ammonium chloride. My local market only had ammonium hydroxide and surfactant. Will this be okay to use?

Okay thanks. I order dr.tims on one day delivery so itll be here tomorrow. Should i add it tomorrow or wait till im closer to the fish arrival? Also should  i still be adding ammonia or hold off amd let tims and the transfer of decor and bio media do the work? 

Okay bit of a change. The fish will now he arriving in 6 days. So i have some more time. Should i do dr.tims or fishless cycling?

I have a 20g that currently have tiger endlers in it, however im thinking of transferring it to a Ram tank. I've had Blue rams before and they did well (untill i moved them to a diff tank) The tanks itself is 2' x 1' x 15" (LxWxH) would this tank be sufficient for a pair of rams?

Im getting a 100 gal tank. What are my filter options? im not looking to spend an arm and a leg. around 150 would be nice. I was looking at a sun sun off amazon for 105.

the tetras did not go in with the barbs. these fish are spread out amongst 3 diff tanks  The tanks have been running between 8months and year 2 mo's.    Ive order alot offline as well and have had less problems. so that will be what ill stick to from now on. 

yes i was also under the impression that washing media under tap water would kill the bacteria. i rinse them out with water after a water change. 

What kind of bio media do you guys use?

Ive always thought a filter should have carbon, however im hearing alot lately that people are not adding carbon and only using bio media and a water polishing sponge to clean their water. Well im wondering what everyone on here is doing. If you have time, add a explanation either way!

So I got a letter from the power company stating that we use 4 times more electric than our neighbors. I have a 10, 20, 35, 55, 65,. altogether, 3 canister filters, 3 HOP filters, and 3 bubble makers.    Could these fish tank really be using that much energy?

They wilp be african, either mbunas or something from lake Victoria. And it is the water polishing pads.
