I did a search for Bio-Spira and Pet Stop, only 32 miles away, came up. I went there and they such an amazing assortment of fish it's mindblowing. They had 70 and 80 dollar fish that were some of the most beutiful and exotic fish I have ever seen, they looked like fish off the discovery channel...

I've taken it apart, you just hear the low hum of the motor. It clean inside though. The only nosisy thing is the water hitting water. :D

I haven't seen it anywhere, where can I buy it?

How long has your tank been set up? How much are you feeding the fish? You should only change your water 25% a week at the most. A full water change is asking for trouble, as is a 70% change.

Ok I managed to get those off, heh used scissors too, was too thick. I tried a different pair of plyers and right before it seemed the hood would break, the piece snapped off. Whooh! :lol: Except now the darn florescant light won't come on, it just flickers at the the two ends. I dropped the...

I just got through putting togther the stand for my new aquarium. It all looks pretty sharp. However, the hood I bought is extremely hard to pop out those little sections in the back. My other hood had kinda of a preferated edge but this just has a little line that goes through about 1/2 way...

As you all know, or maybe you don't, I'm getting a 30 gallon tank soon. I was at the pet store today and bought an Emperor 280. I had been eyeing it for awhile. I figured I'd put it in my 10 gallon now to let some bacteria build up so when I move it to the 30 gal, the tank will cycle faster...

I see them somewhat, only in the lfs though. The big names don't carry them. The lfs tried to sell me one but I went with a power filter. When I get my new tank, I'm gonna get a nice eclipse power filter. :D

I'm looking at getting a new 30 gal or 55 gal. This is going on the 2nd floor will it be too heavy? :thumbs:

I have a 10 gallon aquarium with a Aqua-Tech 5-15 filter. I changed the water once a week and do 20% changes. I'm going to start giving the fish bloodworms only a couple days a week and give the pleco a wafer every three days. This should be ok until I get my new tank. I'll feed my sharks flakes...

I do one wafer as day and it's always eaten. This is my only filter, I've had it for over 5 months. I'll definately get a better type of filter on my next tank. thanks :D

I just changed my filter and put in a new one. My pleco he started to eat wafers recently and now the bottom is always littered with their crap. (2 bala sharks also) I've have had my filter in for 4 weeks before and never had anything this thick. Today I had to take it out after one week because...

Before my pleco started eating, my sharks put out plenty of waste. Now that pleco has started eating, the bottom of tank is literally covered in feces. Is this a problem? Can I do anything? I'll be getting a bigger tank in the coming weeks. hopefully it should help. B)

Sorry all, not for sure what kind of pleco he is. I though he was just a regular plecostomus. Lol hes starting to eat the sharks bloowworm now too.

Not sure how old they were when I got them. They are about 3-4 inches now though. Thanks for information. I'll keep up my hopes that my fish won't turn into dwarfs.
