Out of all the various fry in my tank, a week ago I found a absolutely amazing one! Just after my female swordtail gave birth, she died. However the fry have remained! :     But that one is definitely unusual as far as I've seen

Lost another molly yesterday. Hadn't been dead for long, but immediatly had turned white-ish? (Molly was black.) Although I noticed the plecs trying to suck it to death, could that have caused it? Also - Does my female betta look a tad skinny? Hoping she survives this parasite phase.  

WOTLK = Excellent. Cata = Rubbish until the last raid which was AMAZING. MoP = Not so good.

Quick update - After more fish have died, I've been led to the conclusion of internal parasites. The recent deaths have been fish getting incredibly thin, and pale stringy poo before dying. I am currently feeding them flake soaked in garlic, and meds are on the way. Fingers crossed!

Thought I'd lost him last night, before noticing a tail poking out of the barrel. xD Atleast he's using it! After a while, he just had the white of his chin showing, so I went to get my camera - Though by the time I got back up, he'd left the barrel. xD Have a picture anyway!  

I'd suggest popping the temp up to 80F (: Bettas can be lethargic in lower temperatures. As for the behaviour, this is a new one on me - Im not entirely sure.

I've got a funny feeling he's on his last legs (Or fins.). But he's currently sat inside the barrel for support :D

Three of mine are incredibly active fish, whereas my other one just sits around all day :P But in general, I'd say they are supposed to be active and communicate with their owners.

A Betta should be living in a 22litre+ tank with a filter, and a heater. I'd advise you to get a bigger tank than 2.4 litres, and get a filter

Is there any solid way of telling if your betta is getting old? One of mine, I was told, was 16weeks when I got him. However, Im beginning to wonder if I was lied to.

Male black molly is now sitting on the gravel and not moving much.

I do water changes on the 90litre every 6 days. Temp is at 80

Only the white molly died without any signs of illness, ammonia and nitrite levels are posted above. The other fish are showing various illnesses

Another black molly female is beginning to act lethargic, as is the white female molly left.

Update: Nitrite is at 0, and the swordtail who developed over-night swim bladder has passed away.   Looking for some speedy advice D;   The patches on the black molly are grey and round, both on her back. Also, the anorexic looking molly is gasping for air at the surface in the mornings when...

Tank has been set up since beginning of april, used a filter start when I first added water. Fish were put in 2 weeks later.   I'd imagine the nitrite is at 0, but of course I'll need to check that - am at college currently.

They're not as bad as being pine coned, just slightly uneven. No sign of bloated stomach either

Woke up this morning to see that Oliver has small patches of scales missing. Also, his scales don't seem to be as smooth as they should be. Any ideas? I doubt its an ornament causing this. 30 litre tank, water changed every 3 - 4 days.

I very rarely see my Betta anymore as he has grown lazy in his attitude. He spends the day under a ornament, or a mossball - just like yours is doing.       Some bettas actually love strong filter flow - always depends on the fish! (:

Currently have a Neon Tetra sitting at the bottom of the tank with a triangular bulge. Weird thing is that the buldge will dissapear, and grow again within seconds, and will keep doing that - like it's got something inside it.   60litre tank, Pearl Danios, Neon Tetra, Betta

The filters in fluvals can sometimes be a little dangerous in my experience for a betta, as they are very strong.

Yes, for some reason the filter ended up clogged up quicker than usual - Not sure If I missed cleaning it or something. After that was cleaned, ammonia went back down.
