If you need to cool down the tank, put ice cubes in a plastic baggy and float it in the tank. I've also heard of blowing a fan across the top of the water. Just keep track of the temp. A water change will help, too. I don't think it harms the fish. Good luck, Valerie :)

That sounds like pop eye to me. You need to get some medicine like Maracyn-Two, Tetracycline tablets, or TriSulfa with Coppersafe or Maracide. Hope that helps, Valerie

What I did when I had mollies was I got one of those little baby net cages and set that up in the tank with a plant to hide in. I gave them tropical fish flakes and they would eat that. Here's a link for the net cage Good luck, Valerie
