Not all cories are peaceful, some are territorial :nod: For example: Corydoras semiaquilus males will sqaubble over territory. Now they arent aggressive to other fish, just to males of their own kind :good:

I talked to Ian about those a while back and we decided they were C. aeneus "Trinidad". But, like everyone says, I will never know what they actually are, because I have no idea where they came from. I do know they are some form of C. aeneus.

I understand that. I also had to stop buying because Im out of space and dont want to set up another tank right now. The recent fish I got from Frank are growing like crazy and will have to be seperated soon.

I went to Zoo Atlanta this past weekend in Atlanta, Georgia. It was very nice and well maintained zoo and I hope to go back soon. We didnt get to see all of the animals because part of the zoo was shut down to catch an animal that escaped. Here are some pictures: Pink Flamingos...

You made the right decision. I had cat once that changed like that too. He would hide all the time and cause lots of problems. We gave him to a lady who had one just like him and he completely changed back to the way he was a kitten. Like you said, every animal is unique in their own way...

Well, I dont have any Aspidoras, so I cant help you with that. I feed mine crushed flake and Boyds. They also will nibble on the sticks, especially after they soften up some in the water.

Just for reference, here is a picture of a 2" C. aeneus with some close to 3" B. splendens: Its pretty easy to tell the difference. Hope that helps.

Yep, I have always been interested in the S. barbatus, but didnt even know much about the S. kronei until you had them up for auction. Thats great news about the new eggs. Good things seem to happen after you ship big orders like that :) 12 tanks of new fish?? Very interesting. Care you...

Just to give a little update. All the fish are doing very well. The S. kronei are becoming my favorite fish very quickly. They never stop swimming in and out of the floating plants and airstone. They also never stop eating. They didnt eat that much the second day, but they ate a lot last...

He lists them on Aqaubid. I just check Aquabid often. I also will email him and see what he has for sell at the time. He spawns a lot of cories and has some younger ones he sells.

You got that right. My cats have torn up the couch I had, even with a scratching post. They dont do it quite as much now with the post though.

Yeah, like poopsydrew said, they are not very picky. They basically have the same diet as Corydoras catfish. Im sure you will really like them and as you said, they do get pretty big :good:

You should have seen the smile on my face when I opened that box and found that very nice group of C. similis. They are still on the top of my most favorite cory list :D
