i also forgot to add that i bought this fish tank second hand and had been used 2days b4 i bought it,same with the gravel which i just gave a quick rinse,will that of helped speed up the cycle process

wasnt going to m8,was just thinking that ive just starting out at this tropical fish and them blue rams sound abit hard to look after ,so was thinking about something easier.
and would i be able to get away with not having to do an in fish cycle?,if i was going to introduce bolivan rams to my tank,my tanks been up and running for 10 days now,but wouldnt be looking to introduce b/rams for another 4 weeks or so?
could i not get away without doing the fish in cycle and then add the rams 6months down the line,are there any other dwarf cichlids that i could put in with having to do a fish in cycle???????
cheers! i just bought 4 rummie nosed tetras and 2 female guppys earlier today, i thought these would be hardy enough fish to get my tank going,didnt relise id have to cycle my tank!.so id have to go through the, in fish cycle.maybe im gonna have to have a rethink as to what to put in my tank.im...
