Just having a nosey around the tank tonight and see a pile (20-40) eggs lying on an ornament.... What could they be from? I have... Cardinals, Glowlight danio, Corys Dwarf gouramis Never seen or had eggs in tank before so clueless!!

Not good for plants though I'm sure... Deprives them of co2... This correct anyone?

Made the newbie mistake of getting gravel instead of sand and currently house 3 corys unaware of it agitating there barbels... So I'm going to shift half the gravel over to the other side /take it out and replace with sand.. Questions are 1) when cleaning the tank with the vacuum will it not...

What site do people use to find out information on all types of tropical fish? What I'm after is a site where you can click on the type of fish eg/blue dwarf gourami and then it will have its ideal temperature, maximum size, how many per school, aggressive or not etc Thanks :)

Would be moving within a mile of where I am now if that would make a difference... I mean how do people move these big tanks, even with taking say a 50-70% of the water out the tanks are surely still too heavy to move?

Looking into the future really, currently have a 70litre tank, but would like something around the 200litre mark... My worry is the likelihood is I won't be in this house in couple years, so worried about moving a new 200l tank, is this easy as can't think of how it could be? I don't want to...

Quick question really, not sure if I've read it before or read it wrong but do different types of shrimp get on In 1 tank or do they fight? Reason is i have 1 red fire shrimp and would like to add a couple of yellow shrimp to my tank, would there be any problems with this?

Hi mate Just tested the water again with similar results so have repeated the process.... Found out that an old friend has got a tropical tank, had it around a year... What's the process I have to do for do get his bacteria from filter into mine?? And will it save me a huge hassle on for what...

Bacteria bloom, it's totally fine, happened with my new set week or so ago!

Great. One last thing is salt, 1/8 teaspoon is that for the full tank, or per gallon etc? Got the water out ready do the rest now

Also, the Safe water filter aid, should I avoid using that for now or use it?
