All very good points by everyone.  No, there have been no other symptoms.  At this point I just cross my fingers and hope I get a drop of fry out of them as I seem to have better luck with them raising them from fry.  It was just a thought!!  :)  Thanks for the input folks!

Admins are generally thhe folks who run the websites. People who make changes in how we see the forums etc. Mods keep things under control and within a range where it is acceptable to all. Atleast this is how it was when I was a Moderatoe on a different site.

What type of filter do you have? HOB? When was the last time you pulled out the media? If you pull out the media but also look into the compartment...you might find some. Yes, most will get eaten. But also, depending onhow many hiding spots you have...you may not see any for awhile. I have...

How low is the water level in your tank? And when was the last time you did maintenance on your filter? I find I get bubbles if a lot of my water evaporates or if my filter isnt clean enough to provide sufficient flow for movement on the water surface.

A protest will only work if in fact those that are protesting are Monster drinkers.  If not... their customer base sees no hit.  We have not managed to convince my daughters of complete boycott... but they have cut down.  Keeping fingers crossed for that much further!  :)

Just a heads up...  it looks to be this way with all of the competitions running... i.e. Tank of the month, Pet of the month and possibly even Tank of the year (but I haven't checked that one). 

It's only been an issue with guppies.. females to boot.  It's a 10 gallon with only guppies.  4 adults and some fry now in it.  PH is 6.8..  temp is 78 F.  I seem to have great luck with them if they survive the first two weeks or if I raise them myself from fry.  Just kind of odd.

It's a little hard to explain for me.  If you look in the first pic at the mickey mouse right next to her... the mickey mouse seems a bit more defined... smoother lines top and bottom.  But your blue gal... the lines seem off kilter.  Like her tail/peduncle is or maybe her spine is deformed? ...

Keeping fingers crossed for you as well here!  She really is a pretty fish.  The second half of her body (the peduncal is it?) looks a bit off even in the first pic.  But worse in the second.  Maybe she's just always had something off with her and now it's taking a toll?  I hope she pulls...

You say you are adding the dechlorinator and mention you did it beginning during and after....yet you say you added a quarter of it. Using quarters would require 4 steps. Possibility of under dechlorinating?

If it is fry....has the fry come out yet?

Does anyone else see what I'm seeing here?  Does she look like she might be having some issues with a prolapse of some kind?  Hopefully not!  Keep a close eye on her and if others start bothering her.. separate her.

Thanks folks! I'm gathering this all in. I had not seen that in a few of the fish profiles I had been on. Will keep this all in mind should I someday find myself acquiring one of these fish. Will check out those meters too. I have no need for one currently, but no reason to not research...
