I would definatly not go with the undergravel filter...from what I understand they will be a pain in the butt. Get a couple of good filters that hang on the back...also make sure you don't clean out the tank with anything chemical. Soap and other cleaning products will leave a residue that...

I would take the weaker male platty back and get two females. That way the aggressive one will settle down and pay attention to the girls. Having at least two females will keep either of them from being too harassed. Hope this helps. Naomi

Everything that I have heard (someone correct me if I am wrong!) says that you can't reuse a reptile tank for fish....that for some reason your fish won't survive. Don't take my word on it though....If I were you I would look it up and see. Good luck iwth the tank :fish:

That seems to be the case at most of the stores around here. In fact its so bad that I goind a breeder and I drive an hour to buy all my angels :/ I'm too scared that if I get fish from one of the stores from around here they will get all my other fish sick....or they won't make it long...
