over my filter so my baby convicts dont get sucked up is a filter cartridge that i cut to fit. I straped it on with rubberbands. IT also gives them something to pick food off of. my filter doesnt get clogged. good luck

i figured it out now. i needed to pt plastic wrap over the top so it made it more of an air tight seal. I woke up this morning and it was giant. The bubbles kept popping was the problem. im going to release hert now because the have been able to see each other for about 2 weeks now.
