i got new rocks today they are a dark brown and pretty small... for my other rocks would putting them in like a rock tumbler work??

its not really putting out blood but ya kno when you get cut it doesnt come out but you can see blood... thats what i see on my corys... i dont know if all of them have it but still... theres not much in the tank thatll attack the corys... even if they were it wouldnt be in that spot ya kno...

okay i said this on my other post but here goes i tested the water which was 4.0 0 0 then i put sand in in the bowl.. (bacteria sand) an hour later i do a 25% water change and test it guess what it was 0 0 40 lol it got reversed from 4.0 0 0 to 0 0 40

i got really really lucky most of the bacteria survived okay i took the water test and it was 4.0 0 0 i put sand back in in a bowl... about an hour later i do a 25% water change and when i check it again its 0 0 40 :) ammonia nitrites nitrates is the order i did the numbers

yeah... i didnt do anything with the filter except like 5 hours later i cleaned out the mech filter thing cuz the water flow was reduced so much that it was coming out of the space by the intake tube (penguin 125) yeah i think its dead but its worth a shot eh :) but at least my filter is fully...

yeah i put all the sand i could get into a wendys salad bowl plus i cant really put it in a net cuz its like sand ya kno :) so i hope none of it died because #1 it didnt have food for awhile and #2 it was outta de water

i was wondering since i took out the sand and put in the old gravel would that of killed my bacteria?? because its outside now and i dont know if its dead or not but i did it like yesterday at this time i think... how long does it take for bacteria to die without food but lotsa oxygen?
