They're bristlenose plecs. They can breed. One of mine looks like that. They're scientific name is ancritus dom thing that you said. Good luck on breeding them.

Putting a heater in would be good for them. Can you post a pic please so we can identify your pleco? Try some algae wafers or a whole courgette split into two as they're that big.
