My zebra danios are the nosiest bunch of little b*ggers on the face of the planet!! I was installing a plug board on the wall near the tank and when I looked over my shoulder, six little faces were all lined up watching me!! :D

I was worried about doing that very thing, so I cut off the end of an old pair of (summer-weight) tights, st-r-e-t-ch-ed it over the end of the siphon, secured it with an elastic band and hey presto! no sucked-up fish! :D Mind you, I was doing that when emptying the tank of some water - but...

Hi all, One of the 'company goldfish" has just - with extreme difficulty - swallowed a pebble! He's only about 3 inches long (minus tail) so a normal piece of gravel is just about the size of his mouth! Will he be able to 'pass' this normally or is this something serious? *worried look on face*

Hi Wilder, The lump is definitely internal, so I can't really tell if it's hard or soft (but it doesn't move or 'swing' when the fish swims, so I'd take a guess at it being solid). I'm going to have another good look tonight because now you mention it, I'm having trouble recalling if it's one...
