I would say the black ruby barbs. The scissortails can get to the size where they could end up eating your tetras. But black ruby barbs are shoaling fish as well.

From what i remember they were pretty hardy fish, and i would probably get 5 of them. They also like a lot of plants and vegetation.

The fish looked quite normal, and i actually did a 50% water change 4 days ago, and put in some new gravel. Everything else in the tank is a lot happier

I recently moved, and now my only resource for acquiring fish is a local petsmart. I was wondering if anyone on the forums sells fish and can ship them out, or if anyone has had any success with a non local dealer, as far as how stressed the fish were/ were properly taken care of.
