Hi Sorry for late reply not on the internet much. Well sadly my plec passed away last week, I did manage to quarantine him the next day and have treated the tank, there's no sign of any worms now and all the others are doing fine. Thanks for the help Dave

Thanks for that guys I will have to look into the cost of a sheet of glass, I have to say I don't know why a small patch wouldn't work but it just worry's me with the size of the tank I would feel better knowing I had covered the bottom again. Cheers Guys
