Bowls are not ideal due to the betta needing heating and fitlering, IMO your better off with a standard shaped tank, Bettas also need a large surface area to breathe from which the bowl will not provide

I've recently had the same problem, found a PK male in my females so extra divider going in lol then my 4 month old fry i thought was female is male so extra tank came ;)

Agreed! just remember there stomach is the size of there eye, so 3-4 pellets daily is plenty, and don't forget a fasting day with no food or a pea :good:

too big for a 64l tank. i have a pair in a 125l and they rule the bottom apart from 3 decent sized plecs, only other tank mates i have are angels

no signs of obvious bloating. Any aggression within the tank? on paper that is a war zone!

Can you get a picture of her? Freeze dried food is never good as it does cause bloating and swimbladder issues

they did have Pygmies too but i had the last lot, they did have them on 10 for £16 :)

female guppies are a hit and miss with all bettas, I currently have 3 in with my female bettas

i have a female that changes from pink to purple to blue depending on where she is in the tank! sometimes all 3 at once :D

in a short no, they are the worse tankmates for a betta ever due to bright colours and lengthy finnage

let it just be said if they are sharing tanks with other fish don't let nipped fins put you of 1 you really like, it will grow back in no time at all :good:

defiantely a bubble nest there. females can make them when ready to breed, but that is 100% a males nest and thats the male sat underneath it, they will need seperating asap

you would only get albinos from your trio if the male carries the albino gene which it looks like he does not. a pair will be fine in a 60l i had a breeding pair for years in mine, just moved the fry out after a week or so
