How many litres is that? Is that UK or US Gallons? Google tells me 240 litres = 53 gallons so I'll probably need 2 bags :/

I'm going to buy my Roma 240 today after work and need to get some sand to put in it. Will a 15kg bag of Children's Play Sand be fine? I assume 15kg will be enough? Do I need to do anything with the sand before I use it? I know you have to wash gravel buy can you really wash sand??? Thanks.

Theyre only small filters, they only have one little media thing in each. I could swap the media between them both.

I've done a 50% water change on my 2nd tank and my NO2 is still 1.6 and my NO3 is still about 110. :/

Today I've aquired 3 of these little chaps and they seem to be taking a more than friendly interest in my snails :good:

I was told a congo puffer was fine as a community fish as long as it was the only one of its species in the tank.

This is most interesting! I'll be giving this a try myself as I have a bit of a snail infestation in one of my tanks. I was going to buy a puffer fish to eat them all but this might be an easier solution :)

Seems to have made a recovery, but god knows why I've done nothing other than my regular water change.

When I was a wee lad we used to go and feed the fish in the pond with bread crumbs. What I'm wondering is, of normal house hold foods what could I feed my fish? Also what are the definate no-nos? :)
