T1kerman! I haven't been to this site in.. oh... 3 years and I come back to this. ASTOUNDING JOB.
This is gankutsuou if you remember me :]
I'm about to set up my biggest tank yet (a sneeze to you) at 125 gallons. I'll set it up with something overhead and a powerful fluval. I want a lot of...
Roselines are popular and expensive, so they're a great choice if you somehow mange this breeding!
Albino Senegals seemed to flood the market a bit ago and I had not been aware. I remember paying 30 for my baby.
Black bettas are very very popular :]
I'd want to see some more synodontis angelicus...
I'm surprised no one has asked this.... or did I miss it?
How big is this tank? Yes, the tank isnt cycled, dont add fish, now you're pretty much stuck cycling with the fish unless you have another system allready set up.
Senegal - no. He gets in them and "becomes" them, as in the wild they are ambush predators
Clown loaches - possibly. I dont know. It'd depend on my design and the pathways I leave for them and plant types. I could get wisteria and penny wort so it wont matter then they are uprooted, swords so...
I failed to mention this will be a planted tank.
Are Channa Pluero compatible with a senegal, plants, clown loaches, and a black ghost knife?
Ooooh, I'm USA Texas by the way. No snakeheads for me!
Like I said, I'm doing 125 gallon, 6 feet by 1 1/2 by whatever, and plan to have a senegal, ghost knife, clown loach family, maybe 2 specialty plecs, and IDK what else
I just found the perfect tank over in Dallas and plan to go pick it up :] they have a freaking 740 gallon tank over there for 24k lol.
Any suggestions are welcome as to livestock that can go with my senegal :]
I was a member of this forum for a looooong time, but left for a few years.

B: A Black Ghost knife

I plan for my big tank to be set with a family of clown loaches, my albino senegal, and a black ghost knife. not sure what else yet
I've kept 3 little south american puffers in a 25 gallon before. They make a great social community with each other and doo poorly with most other fish. Fish to keep with them that are odd combos but do well would include
- a candy stripe/clow pleco
- Peacock eel (they stay buried a lot and if...
I've had my albino senegal for a good 4 or 5 years now in my 40 gallon (3x1x1.5)
I used to have a thriving community in the tank, but I left it at home with my friend when I went to college. Needless to say, the community fell apart except for the invincible fish out of the group.
I still have...
