i don't know if you know or not but a bristlenose is a pleco its just not a common pleco that most stores sell. so if you went with the bristlenose you will still get a end up with a pleco.

that should be enough i am not sure though. my tap actually does not work with the hose set-up i bought i had to make a few modifcations to get it to fit on my tap.Mine does leak but it works really good still.

i have a 50 foot hose that hooks up to my sink and it works perfectly for me and my tanks are anywhere from 8 feet to 30 feet from the sink. so a 50 foot one should work just fine.

what are your water stats? normally fish are not put in until a tank is done cycling. you can put fish in and do a fish in cycle but it is a lot more work and if i remember right i believe it needs daily water changes for a fish in cycle.

I use to have that filter but i didn't like it, i personally found that my tank was always dirty and i had to replace those cartridges a lot bought a filter that uses a sponge, carbon, and c-nodes and my tank cleared right up. but that is just my opinon and experince with that type of filter.

just put the food in a baggie and label each baggie with the date it should be put in the tank, if she can't do that then as a last resort use the feeder tabelt but as me and Box both said it will mess your water up so when you get back you would need to do a large water change.

I used on of those when i went away for 14 days and all my fish surivived and looked fine when i got home but those do make your tank water pretty nasty so if you use one you will need to do a decent sized water change when you get back and fish out whatever is left of the feeder.

once a guppy is pregnant she stays that way for quite awhile and should contiue to give birth every couple of weeks for a month or 2. thats why a lot of people say if you have male and female guppies you better be ready for babies and a lot of them.

all the stores in my area just say to bring in a few free batches so that they can see that the fish are good and not sick or anything and if they like what you have they will buy it. other that i have not found anything else out

I personally would go for the Fluval fx5 filter but that is my own Opinion.

i only use fluval filters and i have not had my filters get clogged yet and one of them has been running close to 6 months now. IMO that should not be happening the slime buildup yes but the clogging no. (I hve 4 Fluval filters)

i would say either a platy or molly or a mix that is the best i could do.
