I've had the same experience before with a female guppy, it also had a bent spine but other than that i had no problems from it, it had many babies and at the moment there is some of its babies in the tank and they are all fine

By the looks of things its the fishes belly, pretty ugly i know and really don't no what to do!!! Its still in the wee tank alive but douth the well part!!! There were only three red spots on its belly before they burst!! Any suggestions?? Cheers Joe.

The fish has me confussed me, haven't a clue if it is pregnant or ready to drop!! i thought thay have to have really dark stomachs to be pragnant well in my experence!! Is this true?

Yeah slagmi i used some of the media from the filter from my larger tank on the smaller one, which dunc_man_fishy suggested and it came out like a greeny soap.lol. which in turn made the new tank really dirty, but if it works its ok!! Thanx slagmi

Hi, I've just put together another fish tank last night, its about a 7 gallon tank. I've started it up with filling it about 1/2 to 3/4 from the water from my 23 gallon tank that i've had up and running for about 8 months and also i have transfered some stones from that 23 gallon tank also...

I have three preg females at the min myself, but one was like yours!!! it was very fat and ya thought it was gonna pop at any min, but its stomach wasn't that black it was mostly a gold colour. But probably what your find is that after a few days you'll notice that its stomach might get blacker...

In my 23 gallon tank, i have 6 neons, and one is a black neon and the others are the normal blue red grey etc..... The wee black neon sames very lonely as it doesn't be with the group of other neons. I was wondering if i would need a few more black neons to group with it??? Thanx Joe!!!!

Thanx Aquanut!!!# I kept neons and guppys together about 8 years back and they got on fairly well with each other, just needed other peoples views how they get on with one another from there experience!!! Many Thanx Joe!!!
