I think it has a gravid spot and it does appear slightly larger than other guppies. In fact i would the spot has grown and spread (if thats poss). If she is pregnant is there a more likely time she would give birth, such as at night etc? Lynn

Haven't got a question as such, but i have noticed that when i turn the tank light off and it gets dark the ruby barbs lose all their stripes. Anyone else notice this? I was very suprised when this happened as i hadn't read about it. When it starts to get light the barbs get their stripes back...

One of the female guppies is acting strange. She appears slightly arched and at times she slowly drifts towards bottom of the tank and then just starts swimming normally (still arched though). She is still feeding normally. Doesn't appear to be any bulling from other fish. Anyone got any ideas...

My favourites at the moment are my 6 cory catfish. 2 x peppered, 2 x sterbai and 2 x virginae.

Hoping someone in the North East of England can tell me the best lfs. I currently use 2 lfs but neither of them come up to scratch. I live in Newcastle but i am willing to travel within reason. Thanks Lynn

Can someone advice me on the best way to set up a hospital/quarantine tank. I already have 2 tanks but decided i really should have a quarantine tank. Do i set it up as you would any other tank but without substrate and ornaments? Lynn
