I had hornwort in pretty much the same way, and it grew like wildfire. It doesnt have roots (if I remember correctly) and mine would always float... Then fill all the swimming space, so I'd thin it out, and it would grow back like crazy! :hyper:

I used to have duckweed but did the same. Just took a fishnet to it and kept taking every last little bit out and eventually got the better of it.

Mine are about 3" but my fiance had a pair of knight gobies that were 6" including tail exactly the same as the first two results here. I'm pleased mine aren't stunted growth wise then!

Knight gobies get to 6" so might need a bigger tank than your 20L soon :good:

They said 3 drops of oil to 3 cups tank water. I used a plastic cup as they are pretty standard size. As I found out the oil floats on the surface and I have heard since the oil can coat their gills and suffocate them. Because the oil floated on the surface the fish was in there 3 minutes...

Because I would like to do a planted tank and the plants don't like too high pH/gH/kH, I wasn't sure what the fish need... I have a pair of knight gobies, 2 figure 8s and a mono at 1.005 currently.
