hi my female krib has had a go at my betta and bitten some of his fins off, i've moved him to his new home and would like to know if his tail fins will grow back. any replies would be helpful thanks :thumbs:

Are male Bettas happier in a community tank if kept with some female Bettas or will this not make a difference? I currently have a male betta in my tank and he constantly hides. I've had him for 1 week and have not seen him eat anything yet. Any ideas?

My male blue gourami has taken to hiding in the top corner of my tank behind the filter for the past three days. He seems to be gagging for air but there is plenty in the tank as I have a powerhead and an airstone. There is no sign of any disease but his colour has gone a lot darker than normal...

i have leopards and zebra danios and they get on just fine,the leopards chase the zebra's but no harm is done but some days the tables are turned and the zebras get there own back(funny to watch) :thumbs:

try a cleaning magnet very good for cleaning algae,you can get one from most good shops. :thumbs: plus very easy to use. :nod:

I want to add a siamese fighting fish (male) to my tank. Are there any fish they do not mix well with (apart from another male)? Also any advice on keeping them in general? Thanks :dunno:

I seem to have aquired a snail, probably when i bought the plants. Will he cause any problems in the tank? :dunno:

The easiest way is to cut the edges with a stanley knife. You may break the whole thing trying to punch it out.

I have a male and female blue gourami and the male keeps going a dark colour. Does anyone know what this means? is it a sign of mating?
