yes! my mollies do that too! especially the black female mollie I had, it tickled lol..some of my bettas will jump up and suck on my finger if they think its food too, they are all little piggies.

yes its methylen blue, and its a disease and bacteria preventative as well as stress reducer for fish, it isnt bad for them and will not drug them..the wlamarts that do this are actually taking better care of their fish then the ones who dont.

yea pink eyes mean albino, but just her irises are pink, her pupils are black so she isnt a true albino, shes pretty darn cute though, her sisters eyes are blue i think

very nice betta you got there, but i feel so lucky i just bought a betta that looks exactly the same for 3.99us at my lfs..i feel bad for people who pay an arm and a leg for ones i could ship to them for a fraction of that cost. but still very nice :D

umm ICY a tablespoon for 6 fish 3 times a day is wayyy tooo much!! you should feed them a pinch twice a day not even half as much as you are, that will pollute the tank and overfeed them, they can die from swimbladder.

well its very hard to find female bettas around here unless they come into our walmart, and they rarely do, but last night i went there right before closing to pick up a fathers day card and they had about 20 females in. almost every male betta was dead and a few females were too it upset me so...

actually it looks like comb tail to me, not a crown tail as crown tails rays extend way past the fins and they have atleast double rays..heres a pic of my cts to show you the difference this is my comb tail SD

im guessing its the short fins, because plakats are closer to the wild type of betta found in rice patties..

I dont know what a gerbera is..if your referring to the tank its just a reg old fish bowl, the plant is a silk one i got from walmart for $2. i think the tank was just as much, very cheap. I like the cookie jars you use, it makes it unique :)

actually my artist told me that too, i was told that it hurts bad by alot of girls who have gotten it on their lower backs, but it didnt hurt too much only near my spine, but i have a very high pain tolerance so maybe thats why. its just sore and raw feeling now..i know itll hurt when i fill it...

Well, ive been waiting to get this tattoo for over a year now, I drew it out and was quite proud of the way it looked, its two tribal dragons on each side, forming the face of a dragon in the middle. its not finished yet, ill be shading it in when i get the money. anyways anyone else have tats...

woah ive never seen a liplock like that before, LOL. I know when I bought my two ct girls they didnt like eachother one bit, my girl scarlet was a tad bigger and was always trying to dominate the other girl. I had them in a tank with a clear divider and all they did was flare all day..one day...

well how long has she had this? because from what you say it sounds like you thought it was normal and never medicated her..so it could have extensive more damage now because you waited so long. hope the meds finally take affect.

it all depends how many fry you get. a 30 gallon would be perfect for say 40-50 fry under 2 months..but you may get a spawn with hundreds of fry and then you would need a few more 20 or 30 gallons. also at the time of a month or so you should be able to tell alot of males need to be jarred up on...
