I love Fitbit and really work hard to get my steps. A few months ago I had to take a break because of an injury.

Thank you, I moved one of my females to a ten gallon. I hope the female has fry and starts a colony. I can then swap males every once in a while to maintain a larger colony.
I still plan on trying to save the main colony without outbreeding. I will have the backups though. Thank you, I have wanted for years to have a long term colony.
They are still breeding. The problem is the females are having few offspring and dying young. I plan on crossing the males with pet store females in another tank. I also plan on taking the most pregnant female and moving them to another tank. Then crossing the males with her offspring. Thank you...
I have a six year old guppy colony that is not doing well. I have three females left, three or four fry, one or two juveniles, and unlimited males. The females all die young. Their spines curve and they die. They are still breeding. I isolated two of the three females incase make harassment is...
I use a 125 watt CFL. I found not use ferts. They are in a box hanging off the tank pumping water in. The plants root into the water. They perform a little filtering. I am more interested in the roots providing food and space for microorganisms to grow.
I use Finnex lights for all three of my tanks. I would recommend them for planted tanks. I have a load of guppy grass in two of my tanks that do well. In the third tank I have a large amount of water wisteria that does great.
If you add plenty of cover that should help. The fry can survive in the tank with cover. Some will be eaten but as long as the adults are well fed they should survive. You could use live plants like guppy grass or hornwort. You can also add plastic floating plants.
Can I raise Gammarus or some other live food off the back of a ten gallon in a 3 gallon container? They would be food for Guppies, Least Killifish, and maybe a Betta.
