im not to sure on the size in gallons/litres but the tank is 60x22x20inches, and i have , 15 cardinal tetra, 15 brummy nose tetra, 15 penguin tetra, 4 silver sharks, 4 clown loaches, 4 cherry barbs, 2 red line barbs, 16 guppys 4 female all up the duff, 5 diamonnd tetra, 1 ram, 4 red tail things...

hi i have got a 60x20x22inches tropical tank but im thinking of changing it to a marine set up, is it possible or do i need a marine tank , i am currently using a 403 filter , is this good enough for marine and what other bits would i need a some sort of guestermet on a cost of this project ;)

thats good to know about the barbs any shop i go in seeem to think their a new found thing , so do you have any idea how to sex them :thumbs:

i used to put a bit of cucumber in with one of those things that suck to the tank with a screw to put the veg on i got told to change it daily :D

well at least i can look foward to a nice looking tank again but they will be missed ,and my plants can live a happy life again :alien:

there's only four silver sharks , the other ones with the red lines on are (red line barbs ) but they look very simalar , in size and shape, but not many people know much about them as they have only recently been discovered, thanks for looking :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :cool:

it sounds like a lot of fish buut most of them are tetras and very small fish, it looks almost empty i think it about the right amount ,it really only the silver sharks and the redline barbs that will get big ,ok and the discus but the tank is huge when you look at it :dunno:

i am just turning my lights on in the morning and off when i go to bed i was wondering if there is a certain amount of light the fish and plants need as im going to buy a timer tommorrow and need to know the best setting times , ;)

well im not rally a beginner i had a 8ft tank a few years back, but im having to learn all over again ,so you will have loadsa silly questions to come :whistle:

thankyou i do try but need to get more ideas on landscaping as i like the natrual look but it seems to look bare what ever i do , need some planting and arranging tips :-(

so whats te bbest way to let them breed without losing the babysto hungry sharks etc :/

no its just like a litle plastic tank with holes in the bottom, and the tank water flows through it , so i didnt think i would need a filter etc :dunno:

i have had two guppies both pregant die on me , i brought a little breeding tank and put the guppy in with a little bit of java moss when i got up in morning the guppy was floating :dunno: , but it has happened twice now can anyone throw me any ideas :no:
