This is a stunning tank =D May I ask...what are the plants in the above photos in the front..the little ones...^^^there lol

I log on at about 08:30 after taking stepdaughter to school and will have the laptop open till 00:00 so nearly 16hrs, During this time I do housework,cooking looking for aquascaping ideas, might pop out to the LFS.... Turned into a bit of a hermit..

The pic of your tank you used in the TOTM...soo clear it could be used in a Calender..

Update: Just need to fill in the screws with filler smooth some of the gaps left by my awesome measuring skills then paint... Still need ideas on painting it... :good:

hey thanks for the nice comments. Tom I see what you mean about the difference bit of water got down the side. Altho I quite like it being darker (hi lights the fish more)

Twas a nice day yesterday so I decided to do a bit of DIY and built a new hood....will load photos later as just realised the usb port is knackered.. Its made of MDF, what paint should I coat it with? I want to go white inside and possibly put a Beech effect trim but it wont stick to the wood.

How do you find using the A380? I tried not using the flash but they are either blurred or out of focus (I use manual for tank shots)

I used to use Riccia flutans(?) under a net on some slate grows nice and makes a good carpet.

In Swindon.. The shark, gourami's have gone to my Brothers 4Ft tank...least ill be able to see them still. :rolleyes: And i managed to Get 12 neons for £9 due to being the last ones in the tank =D

Just wondering what cameras you all use to take tank shots. Seen a couple of them and they look like the tank is in my screen (minnnt) I have a Sony A380 Dslr with an 18-55mm and 75-300 mm lens. Any particular setting i need to use to make them look realistic and not so yellow/orangey. :good:

Easy way to stop your fish breeding....Slap an X-ray machine on it instead of a lighting unit hehe

Heya Just a quickie.... My tank is 24x12x15" 67L I currently have: 6 neon Tetra's 2 Kuhli loaches 2 golden Gourami 1 Redtail Black shark 1 Botia(?) Loach I have a voucher to get some more fish but if i get 5 more Tetra's will I have enough room for 4-5 more Kuhli's if i find some?

Do they go mental and zoom up and down the tank?

I Did a revamp of my old 4ft tank and my fish in a bucket, my Red tail shark jumped out and i stood on it.... :sick: twas not a good day.

I have seen it in every fish shop i go in, it'll be by the food bit. Make sure you get the egg laying food and not the livebearing food....its too big for the too eat.

Grats on the fry :good: Could use BBS (baby brine shrimp) or the liquifry food, i used these for my Betta fry and they grew up nice and strong. I had a BBS Hatchery in the tank so it was easy to feed them.

Get some turtles B-) saw some in my LFS only about 5-6cm and they look like right little characters, Oh and Shineysideup.... I love the names your partner calls the fish...mine just calls them 'meh its a fish' or 'Bob' lol

Yeah they will love it, watching them chase about id fun too.... just make sure you sive the brine out and rinse with a bit of tank water.
