we bought the tank on jan 23. but did not get the neons untill the next friday. we bought the swordtails a week later on the 4th and my husband tests it every friday. when we got the tank, it talked about cycling although we have not seen a significant increase in amonia or nitrate :huh...

it is a small 10g and we have 4 neons as well. there are no male swordtails but red seems to be avoiding blackie as much as possible today. :(

:wub: :wub: :wub: I love your pics. i am so new to tanking that I had to look up cycling. I live in an apartment and only have a 10 gallon with 4 neon tetras and 2 swordtails. I look forward to seeing more of your tank and when I move, will probably fill my living room with a huge one!!!
