    Blue-eyes and Peacocks

Dream big. I thought about "actually" breeding them, I have a good long 5g with great flow. Alas, my stocking is at limit now. Can't afford a bigger tank but want one---NEED one desperately. Most of the Gudgeons will most likely go to LFS, 6 furcatus I'll keep. May have to have 2 separate...

    Any improvement?

Atl ga guy here with some animals in a tank!

You have 2 dwarf frogs, right? I say a group of nano fish if it's a 10g. Do 50 percent water change and refill with gallon jugs of dechlorinated water. Then you will know for sure.

Thanks for asking. (I have some AMAZING video with all of the the showing off behavior you asked for! I just need to figure out how to do the YouTube transfer. This is a new phone). Also, gobs of photos I am sure I will be posting soon. These are second generation. They made me 6 fry...

What size is tank? 10g or 20g? Also do you know the water parameters? People will want to know. Sorry if you said already...

Yes. Plants. One or two Nerite snails

Sounds like a very cool 20g. I do envy the ones at the store that have a Betta in with other fish. Last Betta I had was a little koi. I felt like he really zipped around the 5g. It was the Aqueon like you have. Good little tank. I had crypt, anacharis, hornwort, and anubius. All grew fine.

Thanks also @itiwhetu @wasmewasntit @Byron @JennySolano And @Colin_T as well for input on my post. I thought I added everyone but it didn't show up

Yep, mesh net does the trick.

Also in response to @Bruce Leyland-Jones, I think I've been over feeding. New to this species, I haven't gauged their needs yet. Also, not sure what to feed at first. I've used frozen daphnia, mini algae wafers, dried and cubed tubifex worms cut up very small because they float, and...

That is the same sand I bought. I definitely rinsed it completely outside in a bucket with a spray nozzle garden hose. The first time I cleaned the tank it went well. I've only had it set up for a few weeks. I'll just have to practice and take some advice on here. Honestly, I think I need...

Well I cleaned the tank and am thoroughly disgusted. I destroyed my nice little pygmy cory fantasy landscape. All the plants are everywhere. Most of the rocks are buried. I'm afraid that I buried my fish and am afraid to look for them in case I hurt one in the process. U hope I can count them...

    Finally got some fishes!!

Can you do without the pleco? Just wondering, I don't have experience with them but seems a bit much. Think of how much space the others would enjoy. Also, maintenance may be a bit easier for you.

Five gallon aquarium cycling and stocking

One Betta and a nerite snail or two always worked for me. Tried a Mystery snail and Mr. Luna was not impressed. I see male bettas in with other fish in big tanks at my LFS and I think it's cool. But, these are large tanks with other fish in groups so maybe the betta just realizes he's not...

    Duckweed is awful

It's possible to just have a little tiny weensy bit. Just keep removing that much as you go along. That's just been my experience. Awesome little water cleaners; love to see the roots grow. I prefer frogbit but can't seem to keep that alive

I think I will get a smaller syphon. Since I haven't had them very long I am not sure of their feeding habits. When I prime the syphon it spits sand everywhere and then I'm also worried about the gas pockets, so I keep poking at it, etc... I'm getting some plant wiltings, too, that contribute...

Here's Design #2 - What do you think about this Back Flush - Limestone - 75+ gallon rock?

Hi It looks too even. Maybe fiddle with extending one of the longer sides. Also, maybe rotate one of the longer elements so it looks deeper rather than flat like the other side. Sorry just came back on the forum so maybe this is way late for input. ❤️ You could do what some artists do and drop...

Welcome! Tank looks cool but I'm such a weirdo I am more interested inthe money and what's outside your window! Seriously, cool video of "swimming" shrimp. I always feel like mine are "helicopter-ing" 😄
