Hiya, Thanks for the reply will be mid week doing a complete overhaul of the tank lol will be washing all teh sand in teh shower first to try and take the clouiness out when we first put it in. the filter will definately be off. Thanks for help ;) Carlie :D

Hi All, Just thinking about getting sand for one of the tanks but how does it affect the filters ? i mean does it get sucked up inside it and clog it or once it settles will it be fine ? Might be an easy question to answer but I have only ever used gravel before lol Thanks Carlie :good:

Hi All !! I am wanting to change the gravel in mytank to sand however i dont have a clue what type to get !! I was wondering if people could let me know which they use and which they think is best. Also I need to know how much to cover a 6 feet by 2 feet tank !! Ta V Much Carlie :good:

Hi All, Might be a really daft question but I have been browsing your forum for a while now and noticed that everyone always states the gallons that there tank holds? How would i work this out from the size tank I have, Its 5.5 feet long 2.5 deep and about 2.5 feet high also? Thanks Carlie
