I would do water changes maybe every couple of days to keep the water clean. Whatever gets changed out make sure it is added back in as essjay and Colin advice. And make sure your water is de chlorinated before putting in the tank. Your betta will be fine also hun

Colin has recommended the lower dose because cories are in the scaleless range. Yes salt is fine but make sure you do the 2 tablespoons to every 20litres. That salt is perfect. When you water change make sure to add what you take it or you will end up diluting the salt out.

You should not be using meds if you are unsure of what it is. Treat with aquarium salt and see how you go with that. Are you treating the tank because you had parasites or just treating for no reason in particular apart from possible prevention?

So I have got home and had a good look in the sunlight and it looks like she will be molting any day now. The white is her eggs in the ovaries so I think she will be berried in a few days! :wub: Not a good photo but you can see what I mean
