Im am also form Long Island and I was wondering what kind of fish you were interested in form out local water?

This might not be ideal for those of you with smaller tanks but Giant Gouramies eat them up...also there has been mention of the loaches and from what I have heard is that the Skunk Loache is the Loach best for snail problem.

I understand how some of you don't mind the snails because i didnt either until they multipied into a large number within days. They overran the tank so fast i couldnt really do much to stop them resulting in the loss of most of my plants. So my word of advice is to just keep your eye on them...
