hi all, well here goes my partner is getting his new 6 1/2 ft tank (800 liters english) tomorrow and im having his 4 1/2 ft tank for my fish i already have: 1 plec, 1 catfish, 1 pictus cat, 9 cory's, 4 guoramis and 1 angel and my plan for this tank was to have white sand and large pebbles...

awww bless r.i.p gourami, my goldfish used to just from his bowl all the time i used to wake up at stupid o clock in the morning and hear him jumping around on the floor, why do some/most fish try to jump, if anyone has an answer for that lol

they are getting bigger by the second i think lol they are great eaters!!! that could explain a lot, they are getting moved into a 3 1/2 ft tank soon from their 2ft that they are in now, so catching them should be fun as they are soooo fast lol

thanks kevinator! and foxy im sorry for your loss, but you can let let your fry out of the breeder now and they may have more chance of survival with well oxygenated water, and will grown faster, just feed them 3-4 times a day until a little older then cut them down a bit good luck and keep us...

she will calm down once she's delivered all her babies maybe a few days after, mine was exactly the same, just remeber to change the water in the breeder at least twice a day as it will sart to go stale, yeah post pics when ya can :hyper: :good:

wow, well ok, first of all every fish is different during pregnancy and birth, she may of been protecting her fry by killing her tank mate, all's you can do for now is remove any kind of rock you have in your tank as she may hurt herself, put plenty of plants (fake or real) for the fry to hide...

they have great noses dont they?? so i shouldnt see why they wouldnt reconise your scent again? as long as you've spent lots of time with them before you go away? my dwarf is getting old now and has started to bite a lot but shes got an ear infection on starting to get lumps just like her...

hi there, my partner has two oscars in his 4 1/2 ft tank (150 liters) and they are up to about 9 inches now and are outgrowing their tank so today we've been out to order our 6 1/2 ft tank (800liters), i think that says it all, tell your friend if they like oscars that much to do the right thing...
