Haha~ This is so cruel. But I couldn't help laughing imagining a poor betta running into those pointy plastic "retro furniture" decorations inside this small 1/4 gallon "tank." I think this was more intended as a decoration NOT to hold live animals in though. :D

though this one looks like it was intended for decoration (with the plastic fish and all) i did recently see one on Ebay that was very similiar and recommended for bettas :/

It's a shame to think somebody would actually use it for real fish, but I think it would be a cool decoration. It's not to my personal taste, but it would go great in my cousin's room- she's got a much more colourful, retro style than I do.

I am very disturbed that it even suggest using this for goldfish... since they need a min. of 20 gallons to survive.

I actually wrote an email. I doubt it will be heeded, but eh. I'll sleep better tonight.

did u guys look at the other items on the site? it's a great site to find stuff to decorate your cube at work with.. kinda going off topic, but yea.. should take a look even though they try and sell decorations off as living spaces for fish. :p

I got back the following email. While I still don't trust anything to come of it, at least someone read it:

Hello (name deleted out),

Thank you for your informative email! This is just a quick to let you know we will definitely let the manufacturer of this item know how you feel about recommending this as not a live fish aquarium! Thank you for your detailed suggestions. We greatly appreciate your feedback!

Please let us know if you have any further question or concerns!

Best wishes,

Ashley L.
