Well yesterday, I did my 3 lfs's run. Looking for c. sterbai to add to the two I have in my main tank. First shop baby ones £4.50 each  and they had only just had the shipment, so I thought no I'll leave them. It will stress them out too much. Second shop, about the same size as mine £7.95 each  . Not today thank you very much, muttering under my breath robbing b's, but some others caught my eye. I'll be back :flex: Third shop zero.

So I go back to the second shop. " I'll have 5 off those please " :D Tank label reads c.julii. £10.25 for the lot. Feeling pleased with myself I return home. Not only where they misslabeled  I had 6 in the bag :D .

Well today thought I'd get some pics of them. Yeah right ok see the blur below :hyper: .They are to bussy playing with there step brothers and sisters I got a couple of weeks ago.

Edit: The only cory that looks like mine is c.gomezi

I read somewhere to get a good, or better pic of fish was to feed them, and take pics after they have eaten. Wrong not with these little beggers  . The only good ones I got was when I added frozen blood worms, and after that they went off playing again

Third pic they have slowed down. It's the little corys i'm trying to ID

Last pic I think is the best

Wow i love the Corys  what size of tank you got? They look so nice and i bet they love the sand substrate

Hi StrontiumDog :)

I think you have C. trilineatus there, but here is a link that shows both them and C. julli, the cory it is frequently confused with.

http://www.scotcat.com/factsheets/c_trilineatus.htm

From what I understand there are very few real C. jullis available in the retail trade, but for some reason the lfs persist in calling the three lined corys by that name. :S

They are both equally lovely and whichever one you have, it will make an excellent addition to your tank.

Edit: Oops! I can spell, but evidently my new spell check can't! :*)

Yep they are Julii (leopards) Very nice cories and your tank and other fish are beautiful!

Siamese Fighter05,
Thank you very much on the coments :*) but I have just change it to sand and the plants for now........have been just thrown in :)

CluelessScot,
Thank you also. They are housed in a 24"x 12"x 15" and, yes they love the sand. I'm still patting myself on the back for changing it from very small rounded gravel :D

Hi Inchworm, Thanks for the reply.

You are the TFF Cory Guru after all :D . It seems Inchworm that planetcat has a couple of pics of C. trilineatus as C. gomezi. That was my mistake in not looking at all the pics.

Thanks again all for your help :D :*
