USA,
One of the cats that we like is a male. But I dont know how he will get on with our girls, and what about spraying? He will be neutered next week, or this week, Im not sure, but i dont want him ti spray. And if we got his brother, how would that be when they were older? Would they be teritoral?

If they are neutered you wont have any problems with the spraying unless they get an urinary tract infection (UTI) or some cats do it when they are extremely stressed. My cat Simba has never done it even when I bring new cats or other pets home though. He just destroys my room for a while. You shouldn't have to worry about them being territorial especially if you have other cats. They wont be so focused on each other. It also matters how much space there is. If you don't have a 1 bedroom apartment home then I think you'll be ok ;)

thats good! I am hoping to get a female calico instead of both brothers, but the lady may not want to seperate them, then we will be getting both males as far as I know.

I remember my male cat still sprayed after he got fixed, he only did it for a little while though, then stopped.

Most male cats lose the hormone that causes them to spray when they are neutered. I had a cat that did start to spray before he was neutered. He stopped spraying almost right away, but every time we moved he would spray every piece of furniture we had. We figured he was marking his territory and let it be. Thank god we only moved 2 times in 10 years

My cat Fritz was neutered before he had ever sprayed. To this day, I don't think he has any idea what it is, and I don't think he has ever done it. If the boys are neutered young they may never spray.

I love male cats, so I am biased and won't offer advice on whether or not to take a pair of boys or not. Good luck, and I can't wait to see pictures of whatever cat you choose.

Boy cat's, generally speaking, aren't nearly as "moody" as female cats can be.

IF they are young and get nuetered before sexual maturity..9 out of 10 will not ever spray. It's usually the ones that have already sprayed that have problems with it.

I've seen some though..that if you piss them off they'll do it..but so will the girls if you piss them off bad enough .

Mine take a poop in the bath tub when they are mad at me.

We're hoping to try with one male cat. I just hope that the lady will let a male and female go, as the 2 boys and 2 girls are of diffrent litters.

go with males we have always had male cats (until just recently) and never had any that sprayed even the one we adopted full grown and unneutred.. TGirls are so much more whiney, crabby, and just plain ahnery<----- strickly speaking of FELINE females. I love all my cats but I recently took in a new female and she took well to my two boys but my little manx/mutt kitty is just mean mean mean to her.

Thats a cute cat.

Well the lady said she didnt want to seperate the litters, but I am hopeing she will change her mind.

We are goingg to look at two female tonight, but if we dont take them, I really do want to get the males, as I just love one of the little ones, it's a grey tiger kitten, and he is super cute and nice.
