40 gal convict tank

Here a few pics of my convicts that I got over a week ago already.. Also a pic of my RBN pleco. These convicts were in a really small tank with severums at the fish store.. The first one is in great shape the other is a little beaten up from the store's tank but he is doing a lot better now.. Especially since he isn't in a tini tank anymore.

This first pic is an up close photo of the first convict hiding in a flower pot hehe..

Yah he's pretty cool I love watching him before the lights come on in the morning swimming across the glass hehe.

Are their any good shops u go too?

I'm from near philly and for the most part my stores suck.

In my area, near Moorestown,NJ.. It depends occassionally the Petsmart near the Moorestown mall is good and sometimes it isn't.. The petco in Cinniaminsion,NJ is awesome.. They have a lot of tanks, they don't rip you off.. They don't have a huge selection of fish but every tank is healthy. PetsMarts in the area tend to be better the petco.. Pets Plus can also be good

P.S.. I'm in south jersey about 20 minutes from Philly..

Really thats cool, your only about 15 minutes away from me, i live right across the river from philly.
I go to the petsmart across from the cherry hill mall, that is ok. it has its highs and lows. The petco you are talking about, ive bought fish from their once, and the guy was very helpful. healthy fish.

The petsmart across from the moorestown mall i only go their for tank supplies, cheaper stuff their compared to alot of places near me.

PetsPlus in delran, thats where i got my discus, not the best place, but they were healthy and reasonable prices.

Cool to see someone nearby me in the forums.

Poor little fellow. I hate when that happens. Mine learn from the first beating they got, They got mean also. I cant add anything else in with mine now they seem to take turns whipping the new ones..Anyways nice pictures I like the pleco too.. :kewlpics:

PetsPlus got pretty bad for a while the good guy who normally ran the tanks and kept them healthy left. Every tank had clown loaches in them and every tank had ICH.. Then recently the good guy came back, all the tanks were healthy again so.. Heh, appearently without him the tanks suck..

I was going to buy convicts from the PetsMart near the moorestown mall but quite a few of them were dead, so I ended up getting them from the PetsMart in Mt. Laurel..

Here's a pic of the entire tank.. I was going for the fun tank look..
