I've just found out today that my landlord has agreed that Twiglet and Eeyore can come and live indoors.

My boyfriend has the day off and he is setting up thier new home as I type! He's got 2 dog crates (totalling 78 inches in length) which we're going to combine together for their 'hutch'.

That was it really. I'm just so excited about the whole thing, just wanted to tell people. :*)

I'd love to hear from anyone else who has house bunnies?

My biggest challenge is bunny proofing the house. We bring them inside for a few hours most nights anyway so I've made a start on proofing. They just seem to get in the smallest gaps and chew everything.

Yay! I have a bunny! He is in my sig, I would never dream of leaving him outside unnatended.

This is our rabbits new home. We still need some bits before they can move in though.

It doesnt look very big in the piccy, but its 2 dog crates joined together...total of 6 and half foot long.

ours have given up on the litter tray now :( so there is no way they are living in the house)

They have the whole roam of the garden when we are in now (the little buggers have started digging a lot now too - so i'd rather the gravel boarders than the carpet

good luck :)

 mine have been really good with their pooping. Dunno if you remember but I posted a while ago cos they were using the sofa! Well they havent since. All going well. I'm just having problems with the chewing :(

Your bunnies are adorable. I have a house bunny too. I really lucked out with mine....he always uses his litter box and never chews on anything (which has caused a small problem with his teeth, just need to make sure we get them checked regularly). It is a total waste of money to buy him chew toys and treats as he completely ignors them...but every time I'm at the pet store I buy him more anyways!! He has run of the house and is never caged. He sits on the couch and "watches" tv and always sleeps in our bedroom! I know....totally spoiled rotten!!

oh I would love to have my bunnies have full reign of the house. They are so naughty tho. I can't turn my back for one second. They are always trying to get behind my fishtank :| I'm struggling to find something good to block it off cos it's in a corner.

They had thier first night in last night....I woke up a million times cos they were chucking things about in their cage!!

I really don't think Twiggy liked it, but then today I've had the day off work, so have had them in living room with me, but they've been naughty lots climbing on furniture to try and get down the back of the sofa! And for the last few hours they've spent the whole time in their cage...even though have access to the whole living room! Odd bunnies. I hope thats a good sign though that they see their new cage as thier territory already.

here's a pic of the buns in their new home.
