New Rescue

OK, so I went to wal-mart with my brothers g/f. She has a heart like mine, so she begged me to take a cute little guy home. We started looking through them and found this little pitiful one that had chewed a lot of his tail off, and has this white stuff floating all in his little cup. So I took him home, along with a new ten gallon setup to put all of my newest girls in, so that I will have enough room for him now. This makes 14 bettas. 3 being in the last week!! My 'rents are so going to kill me. I will have pics up of the new guy soon! He is adorable, I think he may have a little fin rot too, but not sure yet, nothing that a little TLC can't fix!!!

Just a question.....how many bettas does your brother's gf have?
Maybe it's time for her to start becoming a betta owner. With your guidance, what's the hangup?

She has one betta and I've been giving her tips.... If she keeps hanging around me she will surely end up having 2, 3, heck maybe even 14 in no time!

More Pics..... He is not camera shy at all, although yesterday he flared for hours and as soon as I got the camera out today he wouldn't flare a bit!!

.... I wish I could get pics of his tail.... Poor little thing has chewed some pretty big chunks off, but you can only see it when he flares... I just love his color... Never seen one quite like it. I have one that is chocolate/gold... but nothing like this

Ooooh, I absolutely adore the colors on him! He's positively gorgeous! I don't think I've seen one like it either! Such a lovely iridescent gold witht hat faint wash of blue/green <3 Hopefully he'll settle right in and recover!

Hehe~ They look like twins. Mine wasn't under any light when I took the pics, but under the light he looks just like your Fabio!! I'd like to think that this color isn't so common even if it is at least I know around here it's not! We have 2 of a kind! I'm on this forum all the time, and i've never seen one like em!!
