Wow! such beautiful tank! :D I'm jealous! I'm sure all your new fishes will be very happy living in there! :D So many hiding places, so much room to swim! How many do you plan on having in that tank? How many can you have?

You did a great job!

thanks lipreader :D i'll let h2o answer that lol

Total number of fish will vary as we will be having baby Guppys in there at various stages of development. so sometimes there will be more fish than others.

We currently have:

6 Angelfish
2 Brochis Britskii
3 Clown Pleco's
1 Bristlenose Pleco
3 Ladder Loaches
3 YoYo loaches
3 Oto's
5 Kuhli Loaches
3 Male Guppys
1 Male Ram
12 Rummynose Tetras
2 Bala Sharks

We plan to add:

2 Female Rams
1 Male Ram
7 Oto's
6 Rummynose Tetras
2 Siamese Algae Eaters
6 Female Guppys

Then of course there will be baby Guppys too.

Thanks for the comments! The fish do seem to be loving it so far! :D

We have also got it set up so that we don't need to do regular partial water changes! :D

Anyone interested?

No one interested then. :p

Here's one of our Koi Angelfish. :D You can see the Red Lugwigia is growing just about out the top of the tank now too.

Hi 3W! :D Good to see you again!

Well, we haven't really eliminated water changes. More like changed the way we do them. Lot less hassle.

What we have done is set up a large (20 Gallon) water tub upstairs with airline coming from it down through the floor and in to the back of the tank.

We have also set up an airline going out the other end of the tank that runs around the room and out the frame at the bottom of the window in to the yard.

Every day we change about 7% of the tank water by using these airlines to siphon the water out of the tank in to the back yard and from the water storage tub upstairs in to the tank. The airlines are clamped and we just turn them on when we want to do the water change.

Lot easier just turning on two clamps once a day than doing a water change the old way. :D

Plus the smaller regular water changes are better for the fish and plants. B)
