Jazz's New 48" Tank

Hi,

It was delivered yesterday evening!! 48" x 20" x 22"

Just got some sand in it last night and then filled it up so that I could connect the filter.

Have been landscaping it today so more photos to follow :snap:

Looks pretty big! I love the background of it!! What type of fish you going to stock it with or do you know yet?

shimanocono - I have some fish squeezed into a 2ft tank due to my last 4ft springing a leak (TWICE), they will get moved across when the water tests okay (although not all at once!).

4 Harliquins
2 Blue Gouramis
1 Golden Gourami (partner died in the tranfer to new tank),
1 Pearl Gourami (same issue as Golden - however I have reserved a male Pearl at LFS that is around 3.5"),
2 Pleco (possibly only 1 will be transferred)

To that I will be adding when funds allow
4 or so more Harliquins
3 Orange Tailed Blue Loaches
3 Clown Loaches
& some Conga Tetras
This list may however change!

Jht - Thanks for the offer, but I guess you should wait until you see the final version to decide

But while you are waiting here is Stage 2, with some wood and plants in place.

Hi,

I though I would post a photo of my final tank set-up, not much change since the original set-up.

The fish seem happy right now! The water quality is within spec, I think that this is due to using an already mature filter & lots of water from my other tank.

I would like to however replace some of the plastic plants with real ones over the next few months.
