My new Female Betta tank

I had sand in my female betta tank but I decided to change it to black gravel and added some river stones. I also bought a nice piece of driftwood from my lfs. I think the black gravel really brings out the colors in the fish :)

I took a few shots of the girls too :D

This is one of the girls I got today. She's so vibrant :D She was the only female in the tank at the store that didn't have any stress bars. I guess she's confident :lol:

love the pictures! wot camera u usin? they crowntails? lovely lookin fish,

hope everythin goes well, i had a major fin rot problem and lost 3 of my fighters :( my fry are growin though,

I have a Kodak DX7440. I'm bnot sure if the females are crowntails but after you mentioned it I went and had a look and I do see little rays sticking out on some of them. Hmmm :shifty: I'll have to find out.
 
Can you keep female bettas in a community tank?
 
They are lovely Elisabeth :wub:

The first looks like my girl Fleur and is a crowntail as is the blue one and the green one.

I like the tank with the black gravel too :nod:
