Noticed this on a female Yellow Tail 3 days ago… been watching it… at 1st was brown, then turned reddish, it was twice this big, when I 1st saw it… it seems to be shrinking… the fish is still acting normally, eating normally… thoughts???

Suggest doing something different with my feeding routine???
Only fish I notice a problem with…

Can’t really tell the females apart… there was one the other day that looked egg lay-den to me, maybe was just constipated??? But if so, she had the males fooled, as they were all chasing her

What are you feeding the fish? I feed my fish dried flakes that have greens and other ingredients to help prevent constipation. Definitely feed well-balanced diets.

For the inflammation, I would try an antibiotic. I agree with GaryE, I don't think the hernia or hemorrhoid is curable now.

An antibiotic, such as doxycycline (Doxteric), is used to treat an infected hemorrhoid or infected tissue caused by a procedure to remove a hemorrhoid. API Fin and Body Cure has doxycycline in it.
