Hi
Looking for advice
My golden apple snails have munched down my plants, they're well fed but that didn't stop them!
So I'm going to change my tank and add inedible items.
There's not much left with the plants and I'm worried if I fully remove them it's going to leave an awful mess.
How can I take them out? Should I just cut them back?
Any tips would be appreciated

Were the plants Crypotcorynes?
Crypts don't like being cut back or moved and regularly struggle for several months after any major change.

If you increase the lighting time and add bits of cucumber, pumpkin, zucchini each day, the snails should eat the bits of fruit and any algae rather than stripping the plants. Having more live plants in the tank can give the snails something else to eat instead of the Crypts.
