Hello..

So after failing with my first setup and losing 90% of my fish, i have started a new tank from Zero.. luckily everything is more than fine so far.. it's a 115cm*55cm*55cm tank.. running an Eheim 450E, Seachem matrix for 2 trays and fluval pre-filter in 1 tray, and i have recently added Matrix Carbon and Purigne..

How it looked the first time i filled it.. that was on the 22nd of June.. Talawa Wood used and local rocks.. some sort of Chert.. and few Seiryu

Setting up the filter, and adding a 2-way oxygen pump, temp here is high so the aquarium needed oxygen

How it looked after adding new fish, 1 platinum angel, and 2 juvenille hybrid manacapurus and 12 rummy nose and 2 zebra snails.. added 5 days after the start of the tank and using seachem stability

How it looks now, with 2 oxygen lines and temp is averaging around 28 because of the heat wave middle east is experiencing

I am thinking of adding new fish, like 2-4 small fish by max, and adding new plants later on with a CO2 system..

Looks great! Love the wood jealous of the scavenged rocks I’ve been trying to find some but never can!

My son collected them for me the rocks :D After using this wood, i discovered that spider commercial is a really shitty option..

Latest update.. Angels laid eggs yesterday on the Bamboo :D

Very nice are you going to try and raise them?
This is my first time to see such a thing in my aquariums, so i am still reading about angelfish breeding.. and i need another aquarium to move them with the eggs, it is a community tank now

Thats a lovely set up already and as the plants establish and the fish grow itll be ace

Aw thank you.. plants are removed the Vallisnerias in the back, they didn't make it with no CO2, just kept the Bamboo and the Java Moss.. planning to add a CO2 system end of this year..

Vals don't need CO2. Maybe they don't like the temperature.

I have tried 3 different types of Vals, non of them did grow in the tank, kept them in temps ranging from 29 "summer" to 26 "these days", tested water multiple times, all metrics are perfect..

From past experience, the only plants that did grow with me are Moss types and Anubias

Do you by any chance use Flourish Excel? This is known to cause vals to melt. Long shot but I thought I'd better check.

I used it after like 1 month of keeping them and seeing no progress, i use Flourish not the Excel version on water changes, and also seen no difference..
